Hear what is going on
Representatives from various “support organizations” and related community efforts will be in attendance to tell us about how they are helping build the IT community in the region.
Examples: Seed Coworking, StartUp Toledo, UT LaunchPad Incubator, CoderDojo Toledo, GlassHacks, Girls Who Code (UT), AquaHacking Lake Erie/Toledo, CODE4her & Agile Software Factory & Women in Computing (BGSU), AITP Student Chapter at UT, IEEE Toledo, OCWiC 2017, OpenHack.
Food & Drinks
You are responsible for paying for your own food and drinks. There will be 2 bartenders serving soft drinks and adult beverages. You can get dinner from the buffet: a chicken sandwhich, a meatball sub, chips and cole slaw for $10. Vegetarians can order from a limited Blarney menu.
Parking
After 5pm, street parking in downtown Toledo is free. Disney on Ice is at the Huntington Center on 12/8, so privately-owned parking lots near The Blarney will be about $10. If you will be arriving downtown at 5:30pm, we suggest the Commodore Perry garage, which is at the same intersection (Huron & Monroe) as The Blarney or the lot at Huron and Washington.
Sponsoring
Your company can sponsor the Mixer to support the community! For $200, you will be thanked many times and get a chance to speak to the crowd. Purchase a “sponsor ticket” at Eventbrite or contact us if you want to be a sponsor.
